Having my math test

Today I had my math test. It was on adding two digit and three digit numbers. We had many things to do it on including estimating. What estimating is like when the number is 14 + 85 you round it up to the nearest ten. 85's closest ten is 90 and 14's closest ten is 10 so the estimate for 14 and 85 is 100. Do you know what mental math means? It means to add in your head I think I probaly got 1 wrong on my math test. Our math dou-tangs are white.

    Yes I know what mental math means.
    When I was in primary school we did lots of mental math. We had a shop at home and we did not have cash outlets as they have today. My dad use show me quick ways to do the adding in my head.

    The way I do it is lets say the number 54+32. I add the bigger number + 30 which = 84 + 2 =86

    Clever clogs.

    I have just come back from a concert in Coláiste Iognáid where your mum and dad went to school.
    I taught the children doing the show when the were in their last year in Primary so I had a special interest in seeing them on stage. They were great.
