Silver skate festival

Today I went to the silver skate festival.We went into a tipi and made an aboriginal pouch. I tried cinnamon and raison banack from the aboriginals. We looked at ice sculptures but most of them were still being made because today was the first day of the festival. We did 4 laps of skating and I had 4 cups of hot chocolate.

    I didn't know you had 4 cups of hot chocolate. I guess that was one cup for every kilometer you skated! I had fun too. I enjoyed doing the speedometer test, even though I wasn't very fast.

    I would love to see the ice sculptures.
    Watched a programme once on tv showing a competition in Sweden where ice sculptors were at work. Fascinating
